(Macau, 21 November 2010) – Presented by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau ("SJM"), the "FIA WTCC - Guia Race of Macau" was held at the Macau Grand Prix today.  This year marked the 9th consecutive year of SJM's sponsorship of this world famous event, which had set Macau as its finale stop since 2005.

The title was decided by two nine-lap races that the drivers competed on one of the ultra-unique and challenging race tracks in the world.  Directors of SJM, Dr. Ambrose So, Ms. Angela Leong and Dr. Rui Cunha presented the trophies to the winners after each race.

Dr. Ambrose So said, "Applause is given to the superior skills of the drivers, their sportsmanship and team spirit.  SJM is pleased to present the FIA WTCC - Guia Race of Macau for the 9th consecutive year, and we are doubly pleased to be able to contribute to the development of sports and tourism of Macau for the benefit of the whole community.

"November is a month of major events for Macau.  Following the visit of Premier Wen Jiabao and the world spectacular Macau Grand Prix, the International Auction of the Italian White Truffle, exclusively sponsored by SJM, will be held at the Grand Lisboa on 27th November.  The event is dedicated to helping the needy in society, and all funds raised in Macau will be donated to local charities."
