23 June 2023 - SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) is committed to serving the Macau community. After visiting disadvantaged families during the Chinese New Year in February 2023, SJM continues its efforts by arranging a series of visits from 5 to 23 June 2023 to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. More than 1000 beneficiaries from 310 households were visited, including families from Macau Special Olympics, Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired, solitary elderlies, single-parent families, low-income households, and students with special needs. The visits aimed to express sincere care and send festive blessings, as well as spread positive energy throughout the Macau community.

SJM Volunteer Team joined hands with social workers from Macau Social Services Centre to visit the disadvantaged families in Macau, spending quality time through exchanges, understanding their needs, and providing referrals. They also delivered festive packages filled with daily necessities. In addition, SJM Volunteer Team also visited Sao Jose Ka-Ho School, where they interacted with students through games and distributed children festive packages for a joyous time.

Dedicated to supporting and organising different types of community activities, SJM encourages its team members to actively participate in these activities, care for those in need in the community and spread love to all walks of life in Macau. In the future, SJM will continue to work closely with local organisations and charities for organising and supporting a variety of community activities regularly, contributing to the building of a harmonious society.
