In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 37^th “Walk for a Million” on 13 December 2020 was changed to an online format. Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) continued to show its support to this annual event with 9,489 staff members enrolled for the charity walk. The total number of steps accumulated by SJM staff members were 60,463,373, with an average of 6,371.94 steps per staff, illustrating every participating staff finished a 4 km-journey online. In response, SJM decided to make an extra donation of MOP94,890, based on MOP10 donation for each participating staff member, making the company’s total donation to this charity event to MOP694,890, extending love and warmth to the community.

According to the organiser, the number of SJM members enrolled for the online charity walk was the highest, demonstrating the company’s devotion to promoting charity amidst the pandemic.
