Committed to nurturing local talents, Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) established the SJM Scholarship programme for students of the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (“IFTM”) in 2019. Ten students are selected, who are each awarded MOP10,000 per year. The scholarship aims to nurture talents for Macau’s tourism, entertainment and leisure industry, contributing to Macau’s development into a “world centre of tourism and leisure”.

The IFTM Scholarship and Fellowship Presentation Ceremony 2020 was held on 16 October 2020. Mr. Daniel Shim, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of SJM, presented the scholarships to ten awardees on behalf of the company.
