Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) recently donated MOP300,000 to the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop project in support of its food hamper distribution to over 360 low income families. Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of SJM Ms. Angela Leong directed the donation to President of Macau Holy House of Mercy Mr. António José de Freitas at the cheque presentation ceremony held on 19 March 2020.

Mr. António José de Freitas extended his gratitude to SJM for supporting the Welfare Shop project for the eighth consecutive year. He commended SJM for its long term contributions to Macau’s charity work, dedicating help and care to the underprivileged group. He added that SJM had also made donations in cash and in kind to Macau and to Hubei, China in recent months, contributing to the concerted efforts in fighting the virus.
