Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) donated MOP600,000 in support of the annual “Walk for a Million” charity event in Macau. The cheque presentation ceremony was held on 5 December 2019. Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJM Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer Ms. Angela Leong and Director Dr. Ambrose So directed the donation cheque to the Charity Fund from The Readers of Macao Daily News, represented by President of the Directive Council Mr. Vong Kok Seng, Vice Presidents Mr. Wong Pan Seng and Mr. Lei Kuong Chi, and Director Mr. Lei Weng Son.

As in previous years, in addition to donation, over 3,000 SJM staff and directors participated in the annual Charity Walk on 8 December 2019.

Ms. Daisy Ho, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJM, said, “SJM is an ardent supporter of this annual charity event, upholding Dr. Stanley Ho’s principle of ‘from society to society’. We encourage our staff to take part in the charity walk, spreading the message of love and inclusiveness to the community.”
