Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) launched the “2019 SJM Responsible Gaming Promotion” with a series of activities for its staff members, including icon design competition, quiz and others. Moreover, SJM and the Hong Kong Institute of Education for Sustainable Development (“HIESD”) jointly organised a course titled “Responsible gaming – Sustainable development for Macau’s tourism, leisure and entertainment industry”.

A prize and certificate presentation ceremony was held on 6 November 2019, in the presence of Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of SJM, also Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee. Ms. Leong said in her speech that SJM is pleased to join forces with the Macau SAR Government in promoting responsible gaming, and fully supports the government in the implementation of the newly amended Gaming Participation Law.
