SJM Prema Theodore Racing joins SJM Volunteer Team in sharing love and warmth with local community
SJM Prema Theodore Racing, amidst their heavy schedule preparing for the Macau Grand Prix, visited the Kam Pek Community Centre in Macau on 11 November 2019 to share love and warmth with the local community.
The “Hi! My Racing Heroes!” charity activity was attended by Theodore Racing CEO Teddy Yip Jr, SJM Prema Theodore Racing racing drivers Marcus Armstrong, Frederik Vesti and Robert Shwartzman, as well as over 100 members of the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired and of Macau Special Olympics whom the drivers spent quality time with. The members interacted with the drivers through fun games, and received autographed postcards from the drivers. Organised by the SJM Volunteer Team, the event aims to share joy and warmth with the disadvantaged, and inspire the participating members with the drivers’ courage and perseverance.
Ms. Daisy Ho, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJM, said, “SJM is delighted to continue our successful partnership with SJM Prema Theodore Racing for the seventh consecutive year, both on and off the race track.”
Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of SJM, continued, “SJM, with its roots in Macau, is an ardent supporter of the city’s annual signature events. This year we continue to team up with Theodore Racing again in launching a series of activities for the benefit of the local community.”
Mr. Teddy Yip commented, “We are delighted to spend a wonderful time with the members of the Association of the Hearing Impaired and of Macau Special Olympics. Our appreciation also goes to SJM and their volunteer team for the invitation, which enables us to have the opportunity to give something back to the local community while racing in Macau, making our trip in Macau a very meaningful one.”
Title-sponsored by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. and with ICBC (Macau) as the promotion partner, SJM Prema Theodore Racing sets their target on scoring the ninth victory for the team in the 66th Macau Grand Prix to be held in Macau from 14 to 17 November.
