To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Macau SAR, the Association of Chinese Culture and Art of Macau and Guangdong Chinese Culture Promotion Society co-organised a series of activities at Kam Pek Community Centre in June. Sponsored by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”), these activities include an exhibition in memory of the late Mr Lin Zhaoming, a leading artist in Chinese broadcasting and theatre play, as well as a Cantonese Xiangsheng performance.

Dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture and fostering of culture activities in Macau, SJM joins forces with society to develop Macau into a base for exchange and co-operation where Chinese culture is the mainstream and diverse cultures co-exist.
