The SJM Volunteer Team participated in the Macau Special Olympics (“MSO”) fund-raising flag day on 27 and 28 April 2019, passing on the spirit of social integration in the Macau community. Around 20 SJM Volunteers joined the event and led teams of volunteers, including pupils, teachers, families and MSO athletes, in the flag sales across Macau.

As commented by the participants, they were very happy to be involved in this meaningful charity event, raising funds for the MSO members. They also made use of the opportunity to increase the public’s understanding and acceptance of persons with intellectual disability, with the aim to build a harmonious society.
