Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) sponsored MOP300,000 for the food hamper distribution event organised by the Welfare Shop of Macau Holy House of Mercy. This was the seventh consecutive year that SJM has participated in this charity event.

Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of SJM Ms. Angela Leong directed the donation to Macau Holy House of Mercy at the cheque presentation ceremony on 25 February 2019. In addition to the donation, around 50 members of the SJM Volunteer Team joined the charity activity on 2 March 2019, assisting in the distribution of food hampers and red packets to over 300 underprivileged families.

Speaking at the activity, President of Macau Holy House of Mercy Mr. António José de Freitas commended SJM for its contributions to Macau’s charities and for its care for the disadvantaged in the community. He also extended his gratitude to SJM for its continuous support for Macau Holy House of Mercy over the years.

The SJM volunteers were grateful for the opportunity of joining this worthy cause to serve the needy in society.
