Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. fully supported Macau’s mega celebration event for Chinese New Year – “Celebrations of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macau Special Administrative Region – Parade for Celebration of the Year of the Pig”, hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office. SJM’s festive float was named “Eight Michelin Stars Embracing the New Year”, celebrating Grand Lisboa as Macau’s leading dining destination with seven Michelin Stars – all under one hotel roof: The Eight and Robuchon au Dôme have been awarded top three-star ratings from Michelin for 11 and 6 consecutive years, respectively, whilst The Kitchen at Grand Lisboa has been awarded one star. Tim’s Kitchen at Hotel Lisboa has also been awarded one Michelin star. The eight lucky stars represent SJM’s best wishes for Macau to further enhance its position as a Creative City of Gastronomy.
