To enhance the quality of service of Macau’s tourism and leisure industry, the Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and the Macao Federation of Trade Unions jointly organised the first edition of Occupational Skills Competition for Tourism and Leisure Enterprises in Macau. The Competition comprised several contests of table game skills, hotel integrated service skills and cookery, which were held on 15, 17 and 18 January 2019, respectively. Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) was one of the sponsors of the event, and the SJM team was the champion in the “Payout Calculation” contest and the first runner-up in the “Hotel Integrated Service” session.
