
SJM Theodore Racing by PREMA joins SJM Volunteer Team in sharing love and warmth with local community
SJM Theodore Racing by PREMA, amidst their heavy schedule preparing for the Macau Grand Prix, visited the Kam Pek Community Centre in Macau on 13 November to share love and warmth with the local community.
SJM Theodore Racing by PREMA CEO Teddy Yip Jr, racing drivers Guanyu Zhou, Ralf Aron, Marcus Armstrong and Robert Shwartzman visited the Kam Pek Community Centre in the Inner Harbour area, and spent quality time with over 100 members of the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired and of Macau Special Olympics at the “Hi! My Racing Heroes!” charity event. Organised by the SJM Volunteer Team, the event aims to inspire the children with the drivers’ courage and perseverance, as well as to bring laughter to the members by playing games together. The participants also received autographed postcards from the drivers. Joining the charity activity were Director of the SJM Volunteer Team Mr. Fok Chi Chiu, Functional Head (Day Activity Services) of Macau Special Olympics Ms. Bobo Leong, President of the Executive Council of Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired Mr. Szeto Tie Fung and members of the SJM Volunteer Team.
Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of SJM, said, “SJM, with its roots in Macau, fully supports the city’s signature event - Macau Grand Prix. SJM is delighted to team up with Theodore Racing with a view to promote motorsports and to share joy and warmth with the disadvantaged.”
Mr. Teddy Yip commented, “We are delighted to spend a wonderful time with the members of the Association of the Hearing Impaired and of Macau Special Olympics. Our appreciation also goes to SJM and their volunteer team for the invitation, which enables us to have the opportunity to give something back to the local community while racing in Macau, making our trip in Macau a very meaningful one.”
