7 December 2024 – With longstanding ties in Macau, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) is dedicated to the community's well-being, particularly focusing on local vulnerable groups, youth, and the elderly. On 7 December, SJM invited youth members from Caritas Macau, accompanied by SJM team members, to visit the elderly from the Centro de Dia da Ilha Verde of Caritas Macau. Through this initiative, SJM aimed to uphold the spirit of respect and love for the elderly while promoting inter-generational harmony in the community.

On the event day, SJM team members and youth from Caritas Macau led the elderly in warm-up exercises. The youth then performed a music show, engaged in entertaining games, developed traditional sachets with the elderly, and distributed winter solstice hampers to create lively and joyful moments, allowing the elderly to feel the care and joy of the community.

SJM is deeply committed to contributing to the community and sending warmth to vulnerable groups by holding various community care activities. SJM provides multiple performance opportunities for youth, aiming to instill confidence and improve constantly. SJM team members actively participate to uphold the motto of “from the society, to the society.” These initiatives aim to foster harmonious and inclusive development in Macau.
