
SJM Teams up with Li Na and Wu Chun to Host the “Tennis for All: MSO Interaction Camp”
23 November 2024 – In its ongoing commitment to building an inclusive and harmonious society, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) hosted a tennis interaction camp during the “2024 CTA Tour SJM Professional Finals (Macau) and National Tennis Championships.” The event featured Ms. Li Na, internationally renowned tennis player and Global Ambassador of the Special Olympics, alongside Mr. Wu Chun, CTA Finals Ambassador. Together, they led the “Tennis for All: MSO Interaction Camp” for the members of the Macau Special Olympics (“MSO”), effectively bringing the sport to all sectors of society and promoting the message of social inclusion.
The event kicked off at the Macau Tennis Academy, graced by the presence of esteemed guests, Ms. Windy Lou, Acting Head of the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government; Ms. Porcia Leung, Senior Vice President of Corporate Brand Development and Marketing of SJM Resorts, S.A.; Ms. Li Na, internationally renowned tennis player and Global Ambassador of the Special Olympics; Mr. Hetzer Siu, National Director of Macau Special Olympics; Ms. Ng Ioc Leng, President of the Macau Tennis Association; Mr. Wei Weige, Chairman of Chinese Tennis Sports of Beijing Co., Ltd.; Mr. Peng Lingchang, General Manager of Beijing CTA Tour Sport Management Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Wu Chun, CTA Finals Ambassador.
During the event, Li Na and Wu Chun captivated the participants by sharing inspiring journey in tennis and personal growth. Their enthusiasm was infectious as they engaged the MSO members in a variety of interactive games, creating an atmosphere of excitement among all participants. The event concluded on a joyful note, with Li Na and Wu Chun signing autographs and posing for group photos with MSO members.
