8 November 2024 – In support of the Macao SAR Government’s policy of “Building Macau through Nurturing Talents”, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) established the SJM Scholarship programme for the Macao University of Tourism (“UTM”) in 2019. Ten students are awarded every year, each to receive a scholarship of MOP10,000. The scholarship programme aims to nurture talents for Macau’s tourism and leisure industry, contributing to its development into a “world centre of tourism and leisure”.

The UTM Scholarship and Fellowship Presentation Ceremony 2024 was held on 8 November. Dr. Rui Cunha, Secretary-General of SJM, presented the awards to ten outstanding students on behalf of the company.
