These workshops aimed to enhance employees’ understanding of occupational safety and health (“OSH”) and traditional Chinese medicine care, with a focus on dietary therapy and acupoint massage, attracting over a hundred employees.
SJM has specially invited Dr. Ho Kai Tong, a senior Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor from the University Hospital, as the guest speaker. The workshops covered topics such as the preparation of wellness soups based on seasonal changes and health dietary advice for night owls and shift workers. Additionally, participants learned various acupoint massage techniques to help alleviate shoulder and neck soreness, as well as work-related fatigue. At the end of the event, participants interacted with doctor through Q&A session, allowing participants to better understand their health status.
On behalf of SJM, Dr. Paul Hung, President - Security, Surveillance & Environmental, Social and Governance of SJM, presented certificates of appreciation to representative from the University Hospital and Dr. Ho, committing to collaborate in the future on more workshops and activities related to occupational health and safety.
