4 September 2024 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) is dedicated to fostering the holistic development of young generations. Each summer, SJM thoughtfully organises a rich and diverse array of activities, encouraging children of employees and their relatives—from kindergarten to primary school—to participate at no cost and fully exploit their summer holidays to unlock their potential. This year’s “SJM Employees’ Children Summer Programme” began in late July, featuring an even broader array of courses by nearly 10% compared to the previous year, marking a new record of over 650 participants.

This year, SJM launched 40 courses spanning six diverse categories—sports, culinary arts, academic enrichment, creative science, cultural arts, and family-themed activities— fully catering to the children’s curiosity and eagerness to learn. In the realm of sports, classes such as football, table tennis, and karate not only boost physical fitness but also cultivate teamwork and a competitive spirit. Aspiring young chefs can hone their skills in culinary courses, learning to prepare a range of dishes, from delectable desserts to Chinese dim sum. Academic enrichment courses in English, Mathematics, and Portuguese are designed to foster a deep love of learning, enhancing students’ abilities and interests. Creative science courses, including science experiments, LEGO mechanics, and 3D programming, ignite a spirit of technological inquiry and exploration. Through cultural arts courses like painting, magic, and classical music, children are encouraged to express their inner worlds and unleash their creativity. Family-themed activities, such as the “Martial Arts Culture Family Experience Day” and “SJM x Macau Cruise Family Experience Day,” offering exciting opportunities for children to engage in popular tourism activities, strengthening family bonds and creating unforgettable memories.
