18 August 2024 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) actively organises community events that offer a variety of enriching experiences to inject positive energy into society. Immersing in Easter Vacation
On 17 March, 20 primary students and parents from Escola Tong Sin Tong were invited to join the “SJM x Macau Cruise” to admire the scenery along the coast of Macau from A-Ma Temple to Coloane. Following the cruise, parents and children participated in an Easter workshop hosted by SJM in Coloane. They made straw hats and created lasting memories together.
Experiencing the Warmth of Mother’s Day
On 5 May, 30 parent-child pairs from the Macau Special Olympics joined the “SJM x Macau Cruise” and participated in a Mother’s Day workshop in the nearby Coloane area. Celebrating Children’s Day
On 26 May, nearly 30 parents and children from the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office experienced the “SJM x Macau Cruise”. Upon arrival at the Coloane Pier, the children were greeted by a special surprise as SJM’s friendly mascot, “Sam the Rooster,” warmly welcomed them. The fun continued as families set off to the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, where they visited the “Moomin Wonderful Encounter – Joyous Adventure in Macau” exhibition and spent a fun-filled afternoon with the enchanting characters of Moomin.
Welcoming Mid-Autumn Festival
With the Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner, 34 members from the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired joined the “SJM x Macau Cruise” on 18 August. Following the cruise, parents and children participated in a “Mid-Autumn” themed handicraft activity in the nearby Coloane area. Together, they created festive crafts that enhanced the atmosphere of reunion and celebration of traditional Chinese culture.
