SJM invites local families to enriching arts and culture experiences at Grand Lisboa Palace
13 July 2024 – Throughout the summer holidays in June and July, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) hosted a series of arts and cultural activities at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, specially designed for local families from Obra das Mães, Macau Deaf Association, and Escola Kai Chi. The events provided an excellent opportunity for parents and children to bond while engaging in creative workshops and exploring the “Moomin Wonderful Encounter – Joyous Adventure in Macau” exhibition.
On 15 and 22 June, SJM welcomed nearly 40 families from Obra das Mães and 20 families from the Macau Deaf Association, respectively, to the Grand Lisboa Palace. Accompanied by SJM team members, the families enjoyed photo opportunities against the iconic backdrops of Moominvalley and inside a Moomin-themed photo booth. The creative sessions saw families laughing and interacting as they crafted their own art pieces.
Additionally, on 13 July, SJM invited around 30 parents and children from Escola Kai Chi to join a parent-child terrarium workshop at the Grand Lisboa Palace. Under the guidance of professional instructors, participants crafted their own unique ecosystems. Beyond just a fun day out, these activities are designed by SJM to spark artistic creativity among children and enhance communication within families.
Deeply rooted in Macau, SJM is dedicated to nurturing a culture of mutual respect and affection through engaging and meaningful activities, continuously spreading its support and love for the local community.
