
SJM hosts seniors from The Salvation Army for an afternoon of family joy at Grand Lisboa Palace
11 July 2024 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) invited seniors and their families from The Salvation Army Rui Xi Integrated Service Centre for Senior Citizens to visit the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau on 11 July. Accompanied by team members, the guests enjoyed an art and culinary tour, fostering joyful family moments. Through the initiative, SJM aims to promote the traditional Chinese values of respect and care for the elderly, enhancing social support and care for the senior.
Welcomed by SJM team members, close to 20 participants arrived at Grand Lisboa Palace at noon, where they were treated to authentic Asian cuisine at the “Eight Treasures” restaurant. In addition, SJM donated second-hand iPads to The Salvation Army Rui Xi Integrated Service Centre for Senior Citizens to help seniors learn and use smart devices, thereby improving their quality of life and strengthening their connection with society. Following lunch, SJM team led the seniors and their families on a tour around the diverse leisure facilities and the Jardim Secreto. The event concluded under a warm and joyous atmosphere, with family members expressing that the visit was a wonderful experience for the seniors.
