14 April 2024 – Dedicated to promoting Chinese culture, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) sponsored and co-organised the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese Theatre Cultural Festival” for the fourth consecutive year. SJM aims to enhance cultural exchanges between the cities in the Greater Bay Area, fostering the creative development of drama and further strengthening Macau’s position as a base for exchange and cooperation where Chinese culture is the mainstream and diverse cultures coexist.

The Opening Ceremony and Drama Gala of the 4^th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese Theatre Cultural Festival were held on 12 April 2024. Dr. Paul Hung, President – Security, Surveillance & ESG of SJM, represented SJM at the opening ceremony of the Festival.

The Festival was organised by China Theatre Association, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group. Several performances including drama, musicals, Xi opera, and Cantonese opera were staged in Macau from 5 to 14 April 2024.
