At SJM, we prioritise employee training, continually enhancing our talent development initiatives to provide diverse platforms and lifelong learning opportunities. This first cohort from our Talent Programme illustrates our dedication to our social responsibilities and the cultivation of local talent in Macau.”
The “SJM Talent Development Programme” consists of two main streams: the “Leadership Programme” and the “Career Development Programme.” The former includes the “Management Development Programme” (MDP) and the “Front-line Coach Development Programme” (FCDP), while the latter is represented by the “Explore Your Talent” (EYT) programme.
The nine-month MDP is tailored for local mid-level management, focusing on enhancing their skills, knowledge, and expected behaviours to empower them to confidently fulfil their roles and lead their team effectively. The five-month FCDP aims to develop leadership abilities among junior frontline employees, enabling them to proactively guide and advise their teams and foster a culture of continuous learning within the company. Lastly, the 18-month EYT programme caters to team members in gaming industry, helping them discover their potential and expand their skills and knowledge beyond their professional domains. The successful completion of the first programme represents a significant milestone in SJM’s systematic approach to vocational training for team members.
In the future, SJM will continue to reinforce the Macau Government’s “Building a Talented Macau” policy by actively nurturing talent within the industry, promoting economic diversification, and supporting Macau in solidifying its position as the “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.”
