19 May 2024 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) is dedicated to bringing happiness to underprivileged families, and has recently hosted two interactive events at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“Grand Lisboa Palace”) for members and their families from the Macau Autism Association (“MAA”) and the Associação dos Familiares Encarregados dos Deficientes Mentais de Macau (“AFEDMM”). Over 40 participants toured the Martial Arts Arena themed experience zone and enjoyed the “Moomin Wonderful Encounter - Joyous Adventure in Macau.” These experiences offered families valuable time to bond while exploring SJM’s unique entertainment facilities, which blend elements of sports, technology, art, and culture.

As one of the supporting units of the “Macau World Care Autism Day Series Activities 2024,” SJM hosted more than 20 children and parents from the MAA on 11 May. Guided by SJM team, the participants first visited the Martial Arts Arena themed experience zone, where they explored the essence of Chinese traditional martial arts through state-of-the-art technology and VR games, strengthening family bonding while engaging in virtual martial arts tournaments. They then proceeded to the “Moomin Wonderful Encounter - Joyous Adventure in Macau” exhibition and engaged in a variety of Moomin-themed interactive games and photo opportunities.

On 19 May, over 20 children and parents from AFEDMM were also invited to the enchanting “Moomin Wonderful Encounter - Joyous Adventure in Macau” exhibition to explore the whimsical world of the Moomin family and take pictures with classic characters including Moomin, Snorkmaiden, Snufkin, Little My, and friends. Afterwards, they immersed in virtual martial arts through VR games and a video introducing martial arts in Macau at the Martial Arts Arena themed experience zone. The exhibition provided them a glimpse into the prowess of Macau’s martial artists, enriching their understanding of local martial arts and its notable achievements.
