12 March 2024 – On 12 March 2024, SJM Resorts S.A. continued to support the Macao Science Center by hosting a variety of scientific education activities. SJM fully sponsored the “SJM Science and Reading Literacy Enhancement Programme” launched by the Macao Science Center, aimed at enriching science experiences for Macau residents, while enhancing the scientific literacy and reading skills of the young generation.

Following the successful sponsorship of the “2023 STEAM x Picture Books x Storytelling” event, SJM will continue to back new science initiatives this year. The plan includes updating the collection of the science picture book library, adding 3D books and health-oriented electronic reading games, staging the science theatre “The Tree of Life: Darwin”, and introducing a new show based on the astronomy exhibition "Stargazers." These efforts augment the popular "Science Picture Book Storytelling" activities and introduce online science videos.

SJM firmly believes in the power of education and has supported the holistic development of students in Macau through scholarships, workplace experience programmes, and various other initiatives over the years. SJM remains devoted to aiding the Special Administrative Region Government in building a "City of Reading," promoting scientific education in Macau, and contributing to the city’s diverse development.
