22 February 2024 – In support of local charity groups, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) donated MOP300,000 to the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop for the twelfth consecutive year, distributing “food hampers” to low-income households in Macau. In addition to contribution in funding, the SJM Volunteer Team actively participated by hand-delivering “Food Hampers” to 374 low-income households in Macau on 2 March. They also gave out red packets to bring a smile to these families.

On 22 February 2024, Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, represented the company in donating a MOP300,000 cheque to the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop. The donation was accepted by Mr. António José de Freitas, President of the Board of Trustees of The Macau Holy House of Mercy. Guests at the cheque presentation ceremony included Ms. Angela Leong, Director and Chairman of the Staff Welfare Consultative Committee of SJM, Ms. Maisy Ho, Director of SJM, Ms. Ng Sio Lai, President of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau, Ms. Ho Sut Heng, President of the Macao Federation of Trade Unions and Ms. Gisela Nunes, Secretary General of The Macau Holy House of Mercy.

Since 2013, SJM has actively supported the “food hampers” initiative by the Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop through hands-on participation, promoting the spirit of care and inclusivity.
