14 December 2023 – Title-sponsored by SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) and organised by Macau Tennis Civil, the 15^th Shanghai-Hong Kong-Macau-Taipei Tennis Group Invitation Tournament for the Elderly - SJM Cup, came to a conclusion on 14 December 2023. Macau team was crowned champion after the 2-day tournament.

The tournament included four men's doubles for age groups above 50, 55, 60 and 65, and one women's double for above 50. With the advantage of being the home team, the Macau team achieved a complete victory and was crowned champion. The Shanghai team placed second with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss, while the Hong Kong team and Taipei team ranked third and fourth, respectively.

The tournament enabled the veteran tennis players from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei to showcase their skills. It also helped to foster exchange and friendship, and enhanced Macau’s stature as a “City of Sports”.  A tour to Grand Lisboa Palace Resort was arranged for the players, during which they visited the facilities embraced by the resort’s East and West design.

Since 2006, the four participating cities have taken turns to host this annual tournament. This year marked the fifteenth edition and the next tournament will be held in Taipei.
