16 December 2023 - SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) extended an invitation to families from the Centro de Serviços Integrados de Apoio à Família - Fonte de Alegria e de Energia, Caritas Macau, and the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office, to join a festive Christmas party at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“Grand Lisboa Palace”) on 16 December 2023. This event was part of SJM’s ongoing effort to bring joy and care to local families, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility.

Over 50 parents and children from the two charities were welcomed by SJM team members. The event was held at Eight Treasures, where families indulged in authentic Asian cuisine and participated in engaging parent-child games and a lucky draw with a mini plush toy of SJM’s mascot “Sam the Rooster” dressed in Christmas attire as a souvenir. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy, enhancing the bond between parents and children. The celebration continued with a visit to the resort’s stunning Christmas decorations, fully immersing them in the festive spirit. The day culminated with the distribution of Christmas gift packs, purchased from the Fuhong Society of Macau, to each child. This gesture was not only a highlight of the celebration but also a meaningful support to local social service organisations, fostering community cohesion and development.
