26 November 2023 – Organised by the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired, “The Third Sign Language Song Contest 2023” took place at Teatro Clementina Leitão Ho Brito on 26 November. SJM volunteer team was one of the nine participating teams. After several rounds of elimination matches, the SJM team was awarded second runner-up for their beautiful performance.

Through this contest, SJM aims to deepen the volunteers’ understanding of the hearing impaired and the learning of the sign language can also help to foster better communication and bridge the gap with the deaf communities, contributing to a harmonious and inclusive society that embraces the well-being of the deaf.
