10 November 2023 – Upholding the core value of “building Macau with talents”, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) established the SJM Scholarship programme for students of the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (“IFTM”) in 2019, aiming to foster talents for Macau’s tourism, entertainment and leisure industry, and contributing to Macau’s development into a “world centre of tourism and leisure”. Ten students are awarded annually, each with MOP10,000. The IFTM 2023 Scholarship and Fellowship Presentation Ceremony was held on 10 November. Dr. Rui Cunha, Secretary-General of SJM, presented the scholarships to ten awardees on behalf of the company that day.
