11 November 2023 - Continuing its proud tradition, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) continues to be the proud title sponsorship for the “SJM Theodore PREMA Racing Team” at the “70th Macau Grand Prix.” SJM organised a special visit for 9 students from the Faculty of International Tourism and Management of City University of Macau to the Grand Prix circuit, allowing them the unique opportunity to meet and
interact with the team’s racers, and offering them a rare glimpse into the inner workings of motorsport racing and an insider’s view of the team’s preparations and operations.

During their visit, the students toured the SJM Theodore PREMA Racing Team’s pit, where they excitedly engaged with Teddy Yip Jr., Team Principal, and discussed with outstanding Formula 4 racers, Leong Hon Chio, Freddie Slater and Arvid Lindblad, about the intricacies of the sport, including racing components, pre-race strategies, and the essentials of team dynamics. This initiative aimed to ignite a passion for motorsport among the youth, encouraging their active engagement in this iconic annual sporting event.

The students were thrilled by the experience and expressed a newfound appreciation for the Macau Grand Prix. They were also proud of Macau’s capability to host such a prestigious international racing event.

As part of its commitment to promoting the Macau Grand Prix, SJM will continue to host a series of complementary programmes throughout the event, aiming to inspire the youth and heighten community enthusiasm in this celebrated international spectacle.
