12 October 2023 - As anticipation mounts for the eagerly awaited SJM Macao Open 2023, scheduled from 12 to 15 October at the Macau Golf and Country Club, local students enjoyed a rendezvous with top players participating in the tournament at a golf clinic organised by SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”). This community outreach programme took place on 12 October at the Macau Golf and Country Club and welcomed 20 students from various local secondary schools and universities, including the University of Macau, Pui Ching Middle School Macau, Sacred Heart Canossian College (English Session) and Kao Yip Middle School.

The event invited the 2023 Asian Games champion, Tai Chi Kho, and multiple championship winner, Scott Hend, to participate. The day kicked off with a demonstration of sublime skills by the professional golfers, followed by up-close sharing of stories about their training as professional athletes, their emotional journeys, and their paths to success. This provided an invaluable opportunity for students to learn about the efforts behind every achievement. The event concluded with the players signing autographs and taking photographs with these fans, who took home cherished memories.

The event highlights SJM’s wider commitment to community development and youth empowerment.
