24 September 2023 - SJM invited parents and their children from Macao Federation of Trade Unions, União Geral das Associações dos Moradores de Macau, and The Women’s General Association of Macau for a preview of the “Miffy Creative Show - Travel in Style” prior to its opening at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort, to spend quality time together and ignite creativity in the community.

 “Miffy Creative Show - Travel in Style” showcases an extensive collection of 100 artist-designed Miffy models, each reflecting unique cultural influences. One of the highlights is “Miffy’s Macau Adventure with 0.38”, a special collaboration between autistic artist Mr. Leong Ieng Wai, known as “0.38”, and other artists with disabilities from the Fuhong Society of Macau. This artwork exquisitely blends elements of Macau’s UNESCO World Heritage architectures with traditional Portuguese tiles. Accompanied by the SJM team, the participants toured the exhibition, enjoyed the Miffy-themed menu, and each received a special souvenir gift from SJM. The children were excited at the art and craft session, during which they created a new costume for Miffy. SJM has also organised an array of art classes at the GLP Gallery on level one of Grand Lisboa Palace, and fostered city-wide design ideas by hosting the “Create Your Own Miffy Design Contest”. 

As an enterprise rooted in Macau, SJM actively supports and organises various social care activities to inject positive energy into the community. SJM will continue to work closely with local associations with the common goal to create a harmonious and inclusive society.
