12 August 2023 - SJM Resorts, S.A (“SJM”) is the co-organiser of the “Greater Bay Area Youth Orchestra” (GBAYO) 2023 season Macau concert, held on 12 August at the Theatre of MTCEC. Distinguished guests attending the concert included: Ms. Ao Ieong U, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of Macau SAR Government; Ms. Yan Zhichan, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR; Mr. Liu Xianfa, Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in Macao SAR; Ms. Cheong Lai San, Acting Director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macau SAR Government; Mr. Alexandre Leitão, Consul-General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong; Ms. Maisy Ho, Council member of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Director of SJM Resorts, S.A.; Ms. Angela Leong, member of the Legislative Assembly of Macau SAR and Director of SJM Resorts, S.A.

SJM is dedicated to promoting cultural exchange in the Greater Bay Area. The event aimed to elevate the members’ performance standards and broaden their horizons, with the goal of becoming one of the most remarkable youth orchestras in the world. During their stay in Macau, SJM arranged a tour for the young musicians to the Golden Lotus Square and to the Virtually Versailles exhibition at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort.
