18 June 2023 - SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) collaborated with the Macao Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and the China Macau Dragon Boat Association to host the “2023 SJM Macau International Dragon Boat Race”. The event aims to promote Chinese traditional sports culture and the development of sports events in Macau.

The races were held on 17 and 18 June 2023 at Nam Van Lake. SJM fielded multiple dragon boat teams that garnered major trophies in the competitions, and over 100 employees were present to cheer on the teams.

During the Macau Small Dragon Boat Race held on 17 June, “SJM Golden Jubilee – A” and “SJM Golden Jubilee – B” won second and third place, respectively, in the Open Category 200m. “SJM Golden Lotus – A” was second runner-up in the Women’s Category – 200m.

On 18 June at the Macau Standard Dragon Boat Race, “SJM Golden Jubilee” was second runner-up in the Open Category – 500m, while “SJM Golden Lotus” attained fourth place in the Women’s Category – 500m.

SJM achieved flying results in this year’s races, reflecting great team spirit and fighting spirit.
