9 September 2023 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) formed a choir to participate in the patriotic singing contest in celebration of the 74^th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 24^th anniversary of the establishment of the Macau SAR, hosted by the Women’s General Association of Macau. 

SJM had started its choir recruitment since August and had received an overwhelming response from its team members. To better prepare for the contest, SJM had also arranged vocal training, and solicited costume and styling for the members. The SJM choir team, comprising 23 male and female team members performed the song “My Motherland and I” at the contest held on 9 September, and received a Merit award. 

With “Loving the Motherland and Loving Macau” as its core value, SJM is committed to promoting patriotic education amongst its team members, with the goals to deepen their understanding of the nation’s history and Chinese culture, and to pass on the spirit of patriotism.
