19 August 2023 – Dedicated to promoting patriotic education, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised a visit to the “Young People’s Patriotic Education Base” located at the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao for its staff members and their children on 19 August 2023. The activity aimed to deepen the participants’ knowledge about Chinese history and culture, as well as the development of the nation and Macau, nurturing patriotism and passing on the spirit of loving the Motherland and Macau.

Celebrating the 30^th Anniversary of the Macau Basic Law, SJM organised a staff visit to the “Root in China” exhibition at the Young People’s Patriotic Education Base, with the goal to pass on the patriotic spirit to the new generation and inspire them to better serve the future of Macau. The multi-media interactive exhibition showcases the rich and profound Chinese history and culture, as well as the achievements of modern China. Through constantly updating the contents, the exhibition enables the visitors to keep abreast of the latest development of Macau under the Basic Law. 

Committed to passing on the patriotic spirit to the new generation and nurturing future talents for Macau, SJM will organise more patriotic-themed family activities for its staff members and their children in the future.
