17 July 2023 - SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) resumed the “Jiangxi Jinggangshan Patriotic Education and Training Programme” for staff members this year. Coordinated by the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee. Around 100 staff members and their children participated in the tour to Jinggangshan.

This year’s Programme was extended to the staff’s children. The 5-day Programme enabled the participants to experience the hardships and struggles of the Chinese Red Army, aiming to deepen their understanding of China’s modern history, and motivate the carrying forward the patriotic spirit from generation to generation.

SJM is committed to promoting patriotic education. Patriotic tours were organised regularly since 2011, with the “SJM Jinggangshan Patriotic Education Base” was set up in Jiangxi in 2014. The seventh edition of “Jiangxi Jinggangshan Patriotic Education and Training Programme” was resumed this year after a 3-year hiatus caused by the pandemic. Over the past years, more than 2,000 participants have joined the programme, contributing to cultivating and promoting the core value of “Loving the Motherland, Loving Macau”.
