
SJM celebrates the Year of the Rabbit with festive lion dance performances
SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) officially celebrated the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit with traditional lion dance performances to entertain guests at Grand Lisboa Macau (“Grand Lisboa”) and Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“Grand Lisboa Palace”) on the sixth day of Chinese New Year. The sparks of firecrackers, sound of gongs and the beating of drums created a fully festive atmosphere. The Chinese New Year celebrations kicked off at Grand Lisboa, followed by colourful lion dancings and a parade at the Grand Lisboa Palace, where visitors and residents gathered to welcome the Chinese New Year.
Ms. Angela Leong, Director of SJM, Dr. Ambrose So, Director of SJM, Dr. Rui Cunha, Secretary-General of SJM, and more members of the SJM management team officiated the Chinese New Year lion eye-dotting ceremony, bringing blessings for a prosperous New Year ahead. The jubilant lion dance performers greeted guests with the light and sound of firecrackers, gongs and drums, and paraded through Grand Lisboa and Grand Lisboa Palace, including restaurant and leisure venues. The energetic and entertaining performers filled the resorts with a festive and joyous atmosphere, spreading well wishes to everyone along the way.
