Committed to promoting green development, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) participated in the Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition 2022. The exhibition was hosted by Macau SAR Government and coordinated by Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and Environmental Protection Bureau of the Macau SAR Government.

Themed around “Sustainability at SJM”, SJM’s booth showcased a series of effective measures that the Company has implemented across its properties, to promote sustainable development of the environment. During the exhibition period, SJM also signed a contract with Ultra Clean Waste Services Limited in relation to collection of waste for recycling.

Managing Director of SJM, Ms. Daisy Ho remarked, “We will continue to empower our operations with lower-carbon innovations, and encourage our team members to actively engage in environmental initiatives, joining forces with the Macau SAR Government in building a low-carbon city ideal for living, working and travelling and contributing to the development of a green Greater Bay Area.”

Held from 9 to 11 December 2022, the Exhibition with “Commitment to Green Development, Moving Towards the Dual Carbon Goals” as its theme, aimed to promote green development to achieve dual carbon goals through international forums, exhibitions, business matching and networking activities for local participants and from overseas.
