SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) is pleased to participate in “Light Up Macao 2022” as organised by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and stage “A Magnificent Lisboa Light Spectacular” at Grand Lisboa Palace and Grand Lisboa Macau. The “Light up Macao 2022” event features a kaleidoscope of light arts under the theme of “Dazzling Winter” from 9 December 2022 to 1 January 2023, and will illuminate 28 locations across town. During this period, Grand Lisboa Palace and Grand Lisboa will showcase their enchanting light displays for local residents and visitors to enjoy.

Visitors arriving at Grand Lisboa Palace will immediately be dazzled by a magnificent spectacle of lights at the West Entrance. At Jardim Secreto on level 3, more than 160,000 blinking lights enveloping a giant dome will bring the beautifully manicured green gardens to life at night, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm between 9 December 2022 and 1 January 2023.

Grand Lisboa, located in the heart of the Macau peninsula, will light up the night sky with a gigantic animated LED display. In keeping with the event’s "Dazzling Winter" theme, Grand Lisboa will illuminate the city with vibrant images as a warm reminder of the festive season. The light spectacle will feature every evening from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm from 9 December 2022 to 1 January 2023.

Beyond Grand Lisboa Palace and Grand Lisboa, visitors and local residents will discover an array of light installations, interactive games, projection mapping shows and light decorations throughout the city during “Light up Macao 2022”. These light displays and games will feature a variety of themes such as “Immersion · Metaverse”, “World Heritage · Aesthetics”, “Instant Travel · Nature” and “Romance ·Winter”, to name just a few.
