SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”), title sponsor of the 2022 CTA Tour SJM Professional Finals (Macau) and National Tennis Championships, organised a Community Tennis Clinic on 8 December 2022, and invited internationally celebrated Chinese tennis player and Special Olympics Global Ambassador Ms. Li Na to inspire athletes from the Macau Special Olympics (“MSO”).

Held at the Macau Tennis Academy, the Community Tennis Clinic saw Ms. Li warming up and sharing her life experience as a professional athlete with MSO members. The event also included interactive games, with SJM members joining in a lively morning of tennis, exercise and good cheer.

Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, remarked, “We are honoured to welcome Ms. Li Na and the MSO athletes to this series of fun-filled tennis activities. The series constitutes our effort in supporting the government’s ‘Sports for All - Let's Exercise for Better Health’ initiative, through which, we hope to showcase the tenacious spirit of athletes, and promote the joy of sports among both the abled and disabled.”
