This year, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) continues its tradition of supporting the Theodore Racing championship team at the Macau Grand Prix. Meanwhile, SJM is also the title sponsor for the “SJM Macau Roadsport Challenge”.

Theodore Racing team will join forces with Blackjack Racing, sending two times champion riders Charles Leong Hon Chio and Li Si Cheng onto the circuit.

Students from the University of Macau and Macao Institute for Tourism Studies were invited to the Grand Prix circuit on 18 November 2022, and visited Leung and Li’s garages as well as the “SJM Macau Roadsport Challenge” bases where they were warmly welcomed by the drivers.

The students were thrilled to meet the racers up close and witnessed the extent of teamwork and meticulous preparations behind-the-scenes. They also took immense pride in the city’s tradition of hosting this world-class sporting spectacular.

Through this iconic world-class event, we aim to invigorate interest in motorsports among the younger generations, and sustain the success of this annual spectacle through local participation.
