SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) Security Department invited Fire Services Bureau to organise fire safety seminar for its staff members on 24 October 2022 at the Grand Ballroom of Grand Lisboa Hotel. The training aimed to raise the awareness of front-line staff on fire safety and application of fire extinguishers, to safeguard the safety of people and properties in both workplace and daily-lives. 

Around 90 staff members from various departments attended the seminar. They paid great attention to the instructions on the use of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, and electricity safety. The seminar helped to improve their knowledge about fire crisis and also their reaction capability, including self-help ability, in case of a fire accident.

SJM expressed gratitude to the Fire Safety Bureau in offering its staff members a valuable opportunity to learn more about fire prevention measures, which combined theory and practice. They will apply the knowledge acquired in their work and daily lives, and promote the importance of fire safety to their colleagues and family members.
