SJM clinches Champion at 500m Open at Macao International Dragon Boat Races
SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) fully supported the 2022 Macao International Dragon Boat Races, not just through sponsorship but also sending eight dragon boat teams to participate in this iconic event in Macau’s sports culture.
The races were held on 29 May 2022 and 3 June 2022 at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre. Amid fervent support from SJM cheer-leading teams, SJM won several major trophies, as below:

| Small Boat 200m Open | SJM Golden Jubilee A Team – 2nd Place |
| Small Boat 200m Open | SJM Golden Jubilee B Team – 3rd Place |
| Small Boat 200m Open | SJM Prosperity A Team – 4th Place |
Ms. Daisy Ho, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJM and Managing Director of SJM and Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, Ms. Angela Leong attended the events in person to root on all athletes.
Ms. Daisy Ho, extremely impressed by SJM’s performance, commented “I hope our teams will continue to pass on the spirit of dragon boat racing, and demonstrate the perseverance and never-give-up spirit of our nation. We are delighted to share this important part of our traditional sports culture as well as joy of our festivities with locals and visitors alike.”
