On 21 April 2022, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) hosted another staff-exclusive showing of “Macao Back to Common Roots” Narrative Film, which was well attended by approximately 160 employees. The event was part of SJM’s National Education Series, through which staff have gained enhanced understanding of Macau’s history and handed on the torch of “Love Motherland Love Macau” tradition.

“Macao Back to Common Roots” spotlights invaluable historic footage of Macau and vividly recounted the city’s story over past centuries. Those who attended expressed their pride in the impressive economic and social developments achieved, and appreciated the strong backing from the country.

Managing Director of SJM and Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, Ms. Angela Leong, graced the event with her presence and remarked, “Macau is the harmonious convergence of Chinese culture and many foreign influences. As our staff immersed themselves in the tale of the city’s transformation through the narrative film, they benefited from understanding the country and developed patriotic love for our nation. SJM will continue to organize a diversified range of educational events to promote nationalism and Love Motherland Love Macau spirits in the future.”
