SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised a group visit of 50 staff members to the National Security Education Exhibition on 18 April 2022, aiming to enrich the understanding of its staff members on national security and to promote the spirit of “Loving the Motherland and Macau”. The exhibition was co-organised by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR.

Themed around promoting national security in the new era and the great achievements of our Country in coping with the centennial changes and the pandemic threats, the annual exhibition created a strong learning atmosphere on the importance of safeguarding national security and strengthening national defence. Throughout the years, SJM has been actively organising staff visits, under the coordination of Staff Welfare Consultative Committee (“SWCC”), to the National Security Education Exhibition, joining forces with the community in supporting the principle of “patriots ruling Macau”, to protect national security and the prosperity and stability of Macau.

Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director of SJM and Chairman of SWCC, said, “SJM is the first tourism and leisure enterprise that promotes patriotic education to staff members and has recently expanded the patriotic education programme to children of our employees by organising various parent-child activities themed on ‘Loving the Motherland and Macau’. SJM actively engages staff participation in the National Security Education Exhibition, aiming to deepen their understanding on the national security law and policies, contributing to the continued success of the ‘one country, two systems’ in Macau.”
