Organised by SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”), the SJM Vocational Skills Competition held its award ceremony at the Grand Pavilion of the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau on 9 February 2022. Over 160 staff members joined the competition, which comprised five categories: gaming and entertainment, Chinese culinary art, Western culinary art, housekeeping, as well as hotel facilities and maintenance. The event was coordinated by the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee.

Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director of SJM and Chairman of SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, said the competition had served as an exchange platform for the staff members to enhance their vocational skills, and as a communication platform between the company and the employees.

As a locally rooted company, SJM is dedicated to the nurturing of talents for Macau as it evolves into a world centre of tourism leisure. Meanwhile, SJM gets itself well prepared for the recovery of the tourism market and to embrace the development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area.
