SJM and the Macau Health Bureau once again co-organise “Take The Shot, Protect Macau” outreach vaccination event
SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) successfully co-organised a “Take The Shot, Protect Macau” public outreach vaccination event together with the Macau Health Bureau from 25 to 27 February 2022. The three-day outreach event went smoothly with enthusiastic support from both Macau residents and SJM employees. Due to the overwhelming response from the community, more vaccine sessions were added to meet demand. This latest event attracted nearly 1,200 people to get vaccinated – 400 more participants than previously.
SJM continues to proactively support the Macau SAR Government’s pandemic prevention target of “preventing imported cases and a rebound of the pandemic in Macau”, and remains fully committed toward stringently fighting the virus. In an effort to promote the new coronavirus vaccination programme, SJM has launched a series of initiatives to encourage team members, their relatives and friends to get vaccinated since June last year. SJM fully supports the Macau SAR Government’s efforts to provide vaccines for the community and further boost local vaccination rates.
Ms. Daisy Ho, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJM, said, “We wish to thank Macau Health Bureau for co-organising this outreach vaccination activity with us. SJM adheres strictly to the Government’s anti-pandemic measures and proactively responds to the building of a strong immune barrier for the community. We will continue partnering with the Government in the fight against the virus, and by boosting the vaccination rate, we can help safeguard the health and safety of local residents for the overall protection of the community.”
